Winter Sun

I took this picture at about two pm this afternoon on my way down town to meet Mary.

Someone from the Castle Warehouse came out to measure up for carpets for Mary’s new flat.  He was so helpful.  He was able to make really sensible recommendations for hard-wearing easily cleaned floor coverings and he was really familiar with the Housing Association’s  regulations.  

Following the announcements by the FM today,  our carol concert has sadly been cancelled.  We are also talking about cancelling our candlelit service.
