It has been a busy day with a lunchtime hospital appointment followed by a visit to the music shop to collect my clarinet which had been in for a service. They had loaned me a clarinet whilst mine was being serviced and I had found it really nice to play so I spent an hour there at their suggestion playing my clarinet with them suggesting various alternative mouthpieces and ligatures and have come away with a new ligature which is stopping the vibration I was experiencing with the reed. Whilst in the music room which they let me use, I was admiring a cabinet full of shiny new clarinets!
