River Wensum

A and I had a walk round Pensthorpe this morning.  The path through the wildflower meadow was closed due to flooding, unsurprising considering the recent frequent rainfall.  So we took a slightly different route over the dragonfly bridge which crossed the River Wensum seen here.  A gloomy day again, so not great for photos but at least it was mild and dry.

I was invited to our local GP surgery this afternoon to help some third year medical students who are studying a neurology module and wanted to ask questions from someone who gets migraines.  What a lovely three young ladies they were (studying at UEA), so very polite.  It was encouraging to hear that around 70% of those who complete the five year course go into general practice.  I felt honoured to be able to assist them in my small way.
