Sole bloom

My garden looks messy. Mud, leaves, places where the squirrel has made optimistic holes, and plants that are well over.

One exception.
One rather ragged bloom on one hellebore.

My mum loved these “ Christmas roses”.

And, I’ve done my day 2 PCR test. I hope I’ve done it right. Two rather different sets of instructions, one in the box and one online. It’s gone into the Priority postbox. Let’s hope we’re near the end of the process.
