Buds and bugs

These quince buds should open in a day or two. They attract insects very well. The ants in particular congregate on the buds. As well there is a spider diving in amongst the buds. Here and there are smaller shapes that might be insects. The presence of lots of insects is hopefully an indication pollination will be a success.
