....busy doing nothing.....

I know you won't believe it........but I had a relaxing day today.

Woke just after 4.00 again....went downstairs...watched mindless tv and fell asleep again, in the chair, about 5.30. Woke again at 8.00.

Ate a big bowl of Cheerios...went out to see the boys. We start coaching again in three weeks time...so today we adapted a palette into a rack for 30 five metre fishing poles. It was freezing...so we had a fire with the off cuts and a couple of Christmas trees that were dumped behind our hut. Toasty warm!

Back home just after 12.00....the Boss had a list of tasks for me to do online or over the phone...paid some bills...downloaded some forms for power of attorney.....phoned Sky about a new Sky + HD box that they offered me as a replacement for the existing box ( seemingly the old sort won't support all the new software they are using)......ordered a garden storage unit....renewed my fishing licence...down loaded some more music to my i-Pod...and then spent the rest of the afternoon sitting in the conservatory reading, listening to music, drinking coffee and occasionally wandering outside for a fag.

A quiet evening...spag bol for dinner.....CSI...now I'm still feeling wide awake and full of energy. Tomorrow I have the place to myself...might have another lazy day...might go fishing....the possibilities are endless.

Time to check the Lottery to see if I can afford to retire and keep up this lifestyle....I could get used to it.
