The heart of the family

The Manila branch of our family visited today. My cousin Eric's second son, Iain, with his wife Andini and their children, Adam (6) and Sarah (3). Eric and his wife Pauline came too.

We had a delightful afternoon. The children loved the toys I had out for them. Adam remembered constructing roads with the track. This time, he needed no help and produced a complicated road map. (See extra)

Sarah is very cute. She loved the Playpeople and was absorbed in playing with them. Look out for her in extras.

There was time for a little cuddle with her mother and with Adam too!

Tonight it was our photo group's Christmas party. We are all triple jabbed and had done lateral flow tests, so we hope that has kept us safe. The food, prepared by group members, was very good. My cheesecake tasted good too - it was a sort of American style, baked one.

We played bingo - now there is a novelty. 

I was Prince Charming in a playlet about Cinderella and a Scottish band played a song about wellies.

I realise you needed to be there to see why we had such a good time.
