Festive lunch
Today we attended a lunch in the City for about thirty past and present members of our livery company's social committee, and their partners. It was held in Cutlers' Hall, close by St Paul's cathedral. Cutlers Company
The Worshipful Company of Cutlers is one of the oldest City of London livery companies, dating back to 1416. Its current hall is its fifth, and was built in 1888. We dined in the delightful Court Room. The main photo is of one of the stained glass windows in that room, which depicts the making of swords and knives, the original craft of cutlers.
The extras were taken as we made our way back to Waterloo via the Millennium bridge.
