More Shades of Brown

We put the lights on the tree this morning and J decorated it this afternoon whilst I was attending an online meeting. It looks good.

I took a brief trip out to Risley Moss late morning just to stretch my legs. The big lookout hide which was burnt down by arsonists a few years ago has still not been replaced. I am standing where it used to be, taking this photo. Chatting to a ranger, a new structure can’t be located here - ground investigations have identified that beneath my feet is a refuse tip to the former bomb-making factory and “you don’t want to know what is there”. Maybe not, but I like the view here at this time of year. I am a fan of muted browns.
