high vis

Joanna and I had a nice walk this afternoon, out to the wee suspension bridge and back along the old railway to Dunscore. Th light was already fading a bit when I took this photo so Joanna was sensible to wear her high vis and I had a light on my back pack as well as a torch to make us more visible to drivers.

The rest of the day passed quietly enough, getting some tasks done which I had been putting off for a while and writing some more Christmas cards to people I haven't seen for a while. I don't really give any to people I see often (might make an exception for Joanna :-) ) and at drumming we have decided not to exchange cards at all this year but to make a donation to Womens' Aid which I think is a great idea (thanks Hazel).
