Dancing on Ice

Drove up to Aviemore, could have posted some candid shots of skiers and boarders in various sublime or ridiculous poses.
Got too cold and was in danger of being taken out by out of control winter sports enthusiasts so went down the mountain to Loch Morlich. There was still ice at the water's edge. A glorious blue sky with the backdrop of the snow covered hills and I should have done some serious landscapes, but as usual I got distracted by the wildlife. The ducks and gulls were slipping and sliding from ice to water and back again, very amusing!
The drakes were parading to impress a sweet little duck, I had 'better shots' but I liked this one best.
