Good morning!

Last night did not go as well as planned and we believe that the cause may be teething.  This morning however, Stella-Rose woke late (always a plus) bright, cheerful and full of smiles.  Here she is reclining in our bed after her morning feed.  She did have rather a lot of naps during today but mummy reported back that she went to bed happily at her usual time this evening.

In other news:  Boris addressed the nation once more at 8pm this evening to warn us about the forthcoming dangers of the Omicron variant and to urge us all to get jabbed ASAP, be it 1st, 2nd or booster.  The booster vaccination programme has been accelerated to be achieved by the beginning, rather than the end, of January.  To aid this 'some other appointments' will be postponed.  No further restrictions have been announced.  I imagine that now all government financial aid has been removed, ordering businesses to close would prove rather difficult.
