The council did a great job of replacing dad’s boiler and radiators but didn’t leave any instructions for the controls - no booklet and little verbal help (I suspect the engineers were on a deadline to do the next house).

So good old internet to the rescue! Worked out how to set timings for the heating to come on automatically and tried to make it easy for him to override when required.

Phew … that deserved tea & chocolate ginger biscuits!
