Family cards

We went to play cards with Al's little sister and her husband today.
They are the couple that lost their son in November,  and they needed to have a day of thinking of something besides sorrow. 
We laughed and ate and played cards...it was as good as it could be with the knowledge that their Scott is gone.
Holidays are so difficult with family missing.
