Sunday: Repair, Reduce, Recycle

After a night of heavy rain, we had a morning of the same!
MrD was in his shed finishing off the repairs to my very old small garden hand fork. It’s usually left near the garden path, out in all weather and became rotten, wood lice had made it their home! MrD used a spare piece of wood in his wood lathe to make a new handle, it’ll be kept in the garage from now on …
I had another cooking/baking day - made shepherds pie for MrD’s dinner, cheese pie for me, baked potatoes at the bottom of the oven for use next few days and a couple of banana cakes to use up bananas which were past their best.
Temperature all day around 11°C and wind has picked up again this evening :-((
