Cabbage

I’m not sure what this is, but I know it’s a brassica of some sort. It came in a flower arrangement with some white roses.
We went to the Quaker memorial service this morning for our friend Brian, a much-missed member of Hammersmith Meeting. Afterwards I had a good talk with some of my Hammersmith Friends. D chatted about Labour Party politics with John.
I’ve been knitting this afternoon to get a good start on my new project, while listening to a BBC dramatisation of Tolstoy’s ‘Resurrection,’ which I read long ago but have forgotten. It’s pretty good.
