Natural pattern

On the look-out for patterns today I spotted the light fall on my nautilus shell on the mantelpiece . Depending on the angle of the shot (and obviously also the aperture) this can make for some eye-twisting images. Nature has such great patterns , but then again patterns like lines are everywhere! 'patterns' is the next basic element in Abstract Photography and will be the optional theme for this coming week's Abstract Thursday. The tag will be AT338.
