Bay Blue

Tasman Bay is not really the ocean so I can't call this ocean blue.  This morning we went for a walk on the beach at Rabbit Island.  The beach is 13 kms and we walked 5.  A few people were braving the water to swim.  The air temperature isn't hot enough for me yet.  Wiki told me that Rabbit Island originally formed approximately 7000 years ago when a series of barrier islands developed near the mouth of the Waimea River, Rabbit Island is the largest of three sandy islands in the Waimea Estuary.
