Jakobsborn

The German "born" means "well" in English. So this is the Jacob Well.
It is the start of the "Hermersgraben", a little creek with a length of 4km, flowing to the Gersprenz close to Dieburg.
I visited this place on my (daily?) hike. Today I chose to drive a little bit and then walk in the forests east of Darmstadt. A 2 hours tour of 12.5km. See the 2nd extra for a map.
These forests are easy for wanderers and bikers. Flat, with terrible straight paths. See the 1st extra how straight. You can hardly get lost. But sometimes I prefer to have an easy walking tour, unlike east, west and south of where we live, with all those hills.
