Dec the hall

Been a busy bee the last couple of days, work yesterday morning, then out to visit a friend pm, then other friends later, didnt get home until after 10, turned out to be a really enjoyable day :-)

Slept in this morning, was really late to bed, so very tired. Woke up at 08.53!!  Lazed a while eventually got myself ready and decided to have a treat and go to what was Reds for a slimmers breakfast and coffee……whizzed around the neighbours first to post through their Christmas cards, started to rain on me, so was even quicker!
Subsequently drove down to town parked a little further away just somI could have a little walk, shock, horror, the cafe was closed :-(  so my treat turned in to a bacon roll & a Costa, still lovely :-) 

Back home just after midday, first job was to spray my old door wreath and a little artificial tree using the silver spray paint id bought. Scruffy clothes on, gloves, mask, cardboard on the floor in the garage and off I went.  Not quite what I thought……just a silver sparkle spray, not actually silver paint with sparkle, so no colour change, just glittery! They look lovely but nit what I wanted, so they have gone in thr bag, in thr garage with my older Christmas baubles etc. think middle son might want them.  

Needed a rethink as I wanted the resprayed wreath to counterbalance my new heart shaped wreath, complete with a tiny pair of angels wings, tucked into the roses and berries, on the outside of my front door?! Settled on a lovely green fabric gift bag, filled it with clear glass pebbles, tied it to the end of the ribbon, a perfect weight, popped it over the top of the front door and voila!!! 

Next I revamped the garland,  new silver baubles, and silver and white beads, cool white lights, all to match my new door wreath…..really pleased with how its all turned out :-) 

Next I got on my hands and knees to remove the stubborn marks on the kitchen tiles before getting the steam mop on them……turns out my steam mop has given up the ghost, no steam, well apart from what was coming out of my ears lol!!!  Oh well,  back on my hands and knees……granite is sooo hard too! Anyhow its clean, I need to buy a
new steam mop though…..anyone recommend a decent one?!! 

Having a cuppa and a little snack for tea as I am off out with neighbours D&E to their Golf Club Christmas do, a Whitney Houston tribute act, so hopefully she will be a decent singer! 

Had one little wobble today, was looking for something, came across two of hubs deodorants and his razor, which I opened…..it was full of his whiskers. Really thought I had emptied it…..made me fill up, just put it back in the drawer quickly, will deal with it another time :-/ 

Well I best  go and start the beautifying process, takes a long time these days lol…….got a sparkly black jumpsuit :-)
