Christmas Vizsladeer....

'Not impressed to have to pose looking like such an idiot, but the treat afterwards was almost worth the embarrassment'.
Xena

Another beautiful morning, I saw the most fiery sunrise coming over the roof tops but it was not a clear enough view to make a good photo. Gavin and I walked Xena and then went for a coffee at our local café which was busy, good to see they are doing well.

Gavin went to the driving range for a while while I fiddled about with this photo...

Last night we started watching The Power of The Dog but I wasn't in the right mood to watch a film like that so we switched over and watched Falling for Figaro, a sweet rom com about a pair of opera singers - I loved the music and it made me realise how much I miss going to the opera - I have not gone due to lockdowns and then being worried about being indoors at a theatre - but I am about to book tickets for next year. Who knows what our Covid situation will be like then?

Tonight we are going to my friends house for dinner to celebrate her special birthday, we both did our lateral flow tests as requested and are now looking forward to the evening. It is better to be safe and test as the cases are rising again.

Tomorrow Tommy and Inca arrive home and I am looking forward to seeing them again. They have had a few days end-of-university break in Devon with friends and are now with her family.
