Chicken Day

Old, new and old-new girls settling in. Together with Dorian, the bantam cockerel. We’ve got our existing four, plus Siggy (who we had to move out of the old place as too noisy for an urban environment), and four Rescue hens who are currently nameless (plus Dorian). All under cover and safe. Thankfully as ever to know Lisa who has brought me snacks while laid up in hospital with a snapped arm, taken two chooks (including Siggy), provided apples for cider (which I could at least reciprocate today with the finished product) and sourced the rescue hens….
