Distant Rain….

A cloudy, humid morning. Maisie and I were out early. I wore “Keen” sandals to enable me to paddle through the river water at the Burleigh Bridge, our turning point. Met up with other dog-walking friends. Stopped to chat. Straight after breakfast I was out raking the lawns and then mowing them. This afternoon Keith and I went to have our booster Covid-19 vaccinations. Met lovely volunteers who were feeding attendees, Keith and me included. Bread, sausage, fried onions and bacon. Yum! We are so grateful these good folk are helping at making our community safe.
