Spring Has Sprung

I love sunshine. I'd almost forgotten what proper sunshine looked like. A whole day of beautiful hot sun, bliss!

Sat outside with Mum to eat lunch today and then took Indie over the marshes for a nice long walk. Did my good samaritan thing of the day and relocated frogspawn from the dwindling (though still prolific) puddles/floods into the pond where it should have been laid in the first place. Silly froggies! (and yes I am a bit of a nature geek....)

So here is the grape hyacinth in our garden coming into bloom. I quite like the depth of field on this and I played around with the colour balance in photoshop to make it more purple than green tinged overall.
