Christmas
Today the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day - however due to the overnight rain golf was cancelled. However I had plans so OH was left ‘home alone’. I visited Faversham for the first time with a friend. I have walked around the creek a few times but today was the first time I visited the town. A Christmas antique and vintage market was advertised but apparently it doesn’t start until Sunday. However the town is very pretty and we had a beak around and bought a few bits. Spotted this festive post box topper which made me smile.
Home for lunch and slightly disgruntled OH who had spent his morning attempting to unblock the drain!! It appears the pipe which runs to the cess pool has a crack or two? He had arranged for a drainage company to come and clear it and they turned up mid afternoon. If we decide to replace cracked drain it will be ££ so we have decided to wait and see what happens but will be checking cess pool regularly.
Off to London for drinks for CB’s big birthday. London was busy and buzzing and it was good to see so many people out enjoying themselves. My feet gave out around 10.30 and I hobbled back to the station for the train home. I was driving so just ‘mocktails’ for me. My turn on Monday when we will be in London again!
