Living on the Edge

I had a flower photo for today then this wren just stole my heart.  He was perched here like he was checking out the deck.   Then he flew over to the feeder, got a peanut that was really too big for his beak and flew back.  He landed on the piece of cedar I have for a table.  Then he dropped it and looked around like..."what the heck happened".  Apparently it fell through the crack in the deck board!    See the extras.

I almost wanted to go under the deck to find his peanut!  

I love these little birds!   

An all day rain here today.   We really needed it as our area is on a moderate drought notice.  Hoping to see the sunshine tomorrow but if not that is okay since we need the rain.
