Blooming December

Some of the hellebore flowers which were on the plants I bought in Lidl a month ago are doing very nicely, even on our rather icy balcony. Nice to be able to blip the naughty parts of a flower outdoors in December.

I struggled through the day, mainly catching up on a variety of things related to peer review and my main job. Nothing was resolved at the end of the day, but we jog on.

Hoping that I'll feel better over the weekend. Well, at least by the end of the weekend. Feeling rather weary this evening. After reporting my symptoms on the ZOE COVID app I was asked to go and take a PCR test, so being an obedient soul, I did so. Hoping, obviously, for a negative.
