Taking off

The pigeons have almost stripped the holly trees of berries.
I had a good long zoom chat with one of my sisters today. We compared notes on our knitting projects and she described her small elderly dachshund’s wild reaction to a skein of wool from Fair Isle - Maya was channeling her inner border collie.
D and I took a short walk to the river: the wind was cold!
