Leickin About
My mate has loaned me her Leica M9 35mm to have a play with. (She's a good friend!) Feels very different to my Nikon. There's a shadowy extra. And a lot to learn.
Leickin, or laikin in Cumbrian dialect means 'playing'. I like how it obviously originates in Nordic language - leka in Swedish means to play. I can't remember much Swedish, but a few words stuck with me.
Turns out there's a bit of a blip in the healing process following an appointment this afternoon.
