Experimental brick session
When I was training for my Ironman back in 2010, I used to do huge brick sessions. Run - swim. Bike - run. Or any combination of these. Today, I thought I would try to do one again, with zero cost involved.
Went to the tiny gym at work for a 5k run, then called into to the swimming baths next door. It was almost empty. I completed 50 x 25 metres, with a fair amount of stopping. Back in the day I was swimming 150 x 25 with no stopping at all. Had to end the swim as the pool closed early.
All in all I quite enjoyed it!
