Book Club

Sorry another book post. Book Club today was held today during lunch at the Black Labrador and I do feel sorry for anyone sitting anywhere near us; 10 ladies laughing, eating, drinking and trying to discuss a book.
Our read this month was the The Mango Orchard that you can see in this pile of books I seem to have devoured recently. The Mango Orchard is the true story of Robin Bayley who, in between jobs, decided to visit Mexico to see if he could find any trace of what his great-grandfather had been up to at the turn of the century.  It was very interesting, none of my family history research has found anything like this. Bayley found a whole branch of cousins that the UK family knew nothing about,  descended from his great grandfathers "other" wife".
