The Tree…

Is up at last.

Sterling effort this evening by D while I watched and directed the placing of decorations…left a bit, lower, no not there…up a branch…to the right…I’m sure he appreciated my help.

Carole arrived at 10am. Lola loves Carole and was all over her as we chatted but she knows Carole’s other purpose and as soon as Carole moved to go to the hall and set up her grooming table, Lola was off in the other direction as fast as her legs could carry her! Carole soon enticed her through with treats and she emerged a while later looking absolutely beautiful, just as R came to collect her for her walk on the moor!

Had a lovely catch up with Carole over a cuppa and a bacon roll.

Once Carole had gone it was back to gift buying and food planning.

Dinner was cold roast chicken salad. Unseasonal but delicious . I needed a break from root veg :-) before decorating the tree, which has been sitting bare in the living room for a couple of days to acclimatise (well that’s what D says it’s been doing but I suspect he was procrastinating ;-))
