hot water bottle

I vaguely remember when I got up to go to the loo during the night knocking my hot water bottle out of bed, and grabbing it on my way back in to bed and falling asleep.

I woke up this morning and my hot water bottle was on my floor and my shoe was in my bed. I do kind of remember thinking it wasn't very warm, usually it keeps a heat for a good part of the night.

So yes. I woke up with a shoe. That might teach me to have a clear path from bed to loo. It's such an incredibly dozy thing to do. But I couldn't help but share.
