Makeover complete ... I think?

Here's the very ugly 1970's barometer that has been given a makeover!

It wasn't as easy I thought it would be, I'm no artist, but I've given it my best shot. It could be a work in progress if my painting skills can improve, but it's on the wall in my kitchen for now - and I'm reasonably happy with it.
