Christmas Market

I am pleased to report that we managed to find a dry day to go to the Christmas Market in Stratford up on Avon - at least at the start .  It got much colder in the afternoon and started to rain a little when we were on the way home.  We had a good lunch and then wandered around the town and all the streets and waterfront with some very good stalls of all sorts of crafts, clothing, food, sweets, drinks, pickles, ornaments etc etc etc.  We had some tasty freshly cooked churros as we were wandering around but didn't actually buy anything else until I found a shop with a fabulous green handbag which I just had to have!  I have been searching for one of those for some time now!  So, all in all, it has been an interesting and productive day,  We had decided to use the park and ride system and apart from having to wait a little for the bus in and out it was a very good system - bus passes got used for the second time!
