mill

Sarah did another long run this morning with Jess and I travelled with her in the car to Dalswinton and went for a walk on my own.

Here is Dalswinton Mill, which was built in the 18th century on the Pennyland Burn and milled grain. The waterwheel is still in place and in good condition but no longer working. It has a lovely garden which is open in the summer under Scotland's Open Garden scheme. Lots of interest here even on a winter's day :-)
