Cards

A quiet morning.  I have written my Christmas Cards and now they are ready to post.  Cooked a roast for lunch and that was tasty 

While I was clearing up I left my cards on the kitchen worktop.

Elf and Safety got into the. act

These are nice cards Elf said Safety.
Yes just the right size for us Elf replied
We need to get busy Elf or we won't be able  to post them in time.
They  tried their cards but didn't do very well as they couldn't hold the pens properly. 
Shall we ask Mrs P to do it for us Safety asked
No I don't think that is a good idea Elf replied she might not be too happy with us taking the cards.
I told them that they didn't need to send cards  as they saw everybody and they wouldn't have room to display them.  They agreed 
Elf said safety I am quite glad we don't have to right those cards.
Nice  bright morning but rain set in this afternoon.
My extra is the sunrise taken about 7:30 this morning - started off very pale and developed nicely
