Hanging About

Was meeting S in Mathers this evening but all the tables were full (and no standing allowed) so I killed some time hanging around the current nightmare that is the Picardy Place roundabout. Even with light traffic it’s chaos! Luckily most of the folk in Mathers seemed to be enjoying post-work or post-shopping celebrations and started to head off so I got in out of the cold pretty quickly.
A couple of pints and three Bayern goals later we nipped on a tram to Haymarket in search of a curry. Rustom’s this time and the food was great but to be honest it was probably a bit too late for eating a curry. It’ll be a hot time in the igloo tonight!
