Quail

These lovely little quail showed up in our garden while we were enjoying our dinner on the lanai. Today's weather was back to typical Hawaii weather - about 84 degrees Fahrenheit, sunny and beautiful. The beach is still a real mess and the tides seem higher, but we could enjoy our walks and the pool. Many more people seem to have arrived, with lots of little ones too. 

I heard yesterday that my friend with the cognitive problems that I mentioned a few weeks ago has been placed in an assisted living home for people with memory loss. I'm so happy her family was able to take that on and she's apparently happy to be there.
