A Major Award

If you haven't seen "A Christmas Story" you won't get the reference.  You should watch it if you haven't.  It's hilarious! 

I spotted this in a neighbor's window on the way home from Becky's tonight.  In this case, I was glad it was dark by 5 PM or I would have missed it.  My phone didn't do the best job so I worked on it a bit,  but it's still not great.  Oh well, it's all I've got today. 

Becky had an online work party this afternoon and they had a bakery chef who led us through construction and decoration of gingerbread houses....in 30 minutes.  Needless to say, that wasn't nearly long enough and our houses ended up looking pretty sad.  We decided that when we build the next ones (we have 3 more kits) we're going to use hot glue to hold the structures together and then we can use the icing for decoration instead of trying to hold the house together with it.  No one eats the gingerbread part anyway, just the icing and candy. ;-)

The houses may be unattractive (so bad that I'm not going to blip them) but I am grateful for the fun and laughter we had in the process!  l will blip our next ones that I hope will look much better after our practice on the ones today. :-)
