Lighting up the dark afternoon

Tuesday
An early start - forgot to put the garden rubbish bin out the night before, so crept out at 6am with it. Spotted the fox slinking away from our garden.
A heavy frost, so the car needed a good scraping before we could set off for the health centre. Booster appointment at 8.44am - strange timing. No queue! I had flu jab and moderna booster.
Dennis worked the rest of the day.
I walked round to the post office and had to queue outside for about 20 minutes to post overseas cards. Off to the library after that.
Snowfall in the afternoon, but turned to rain so didn't settle.
