Avenue of Trees

I often take photos of this avenue of trees when they are looking their best in Autumn.  This is the summer version of the trees.  I walk through Wanaka Station Park when I walk into town.  It is a very peaceful setting.  The extra photo is of the ducks by the lake.  It is quite windy today.  Another +19C day.

I walked into town and home again, so have done my 10K steps.  Am waiting for my daughter Scooby Doo, and her cousin from Taumarunui to return from their Great Walk, The Routeburn Track.  They have been training for the walk for the last month, and they are returning this afternoon, I imagine foot sore and weary.  I am looking forward to hearing about their adventure.
