Talk about service!!!

Got back from ride at 3.30pm yesterday to find hind shoe split in two with one piece hanging off which I managed to remove. Texted farrier at four asking for as soon as possible but thinking likely to be within a week. No reply. Resent text at 9am, farrier arrived at 11am, he’d had a cancellation just up the road. The shoe had only been on four weeks but when I totalled it up we’d done 122.6 miles on these ones, so not so bad.
Then Graham from Medical Physics emailed to say he had the long awaited stronger spring for the dynamic headpiece. Was any time convenient to drop off or post. I said Friday or Monday morning. Then emailed to say I’m just driving Big Fish back from college early due to weather forecast, any chance of today. He pulled up ten minutes after we got home. I’m very appreciative of good things happening as so often they don’t align and it’s nowhere near as smooth.
