Strawberry Flower

I was blown away to see this amazing flower on the strawberry plant in the hanging basket.  I knew it was a different variety and I’m just hoping that this wonderful flower will eventually turn into a “real strawberry”.

I have been taking advantage of the strong galvanised iron bars that are a feature of the veggie patch and using them for hanging baskets.  I have to stop myself from going overboard or I’ll find we can’t walk around the enclosure without banging into them :)
