Gentler daybreak

Much quieter sunrise this morning, none of yesterday’s drama, still amazing. Bumped into a friend on the beach who has just adopted Daisy a dog from Thailand. Was v good to see her and Daisy was v chilled.

I went to collect Will from school this afternoon as it looked a bit windy and rainy. By the time we got home the rain was such that we were soaked right to the skin in the 7 steps from the car to the house. Huge, huge rain- I’ve never seen anything like it. I had to change my clothes, dry my hair and use my dry robe as shelter to go back out in it to get to work.
