Poppies

Popped into the Pier Arts Gallery in Stromness this morning and noticed these striking paintings by Edna Jenkinson 'Pansies' and 'Poppies' (acrylic and pen).
The gallery puts on an Open Exhibition every Christmas.  Luckily it was very quiet this morning, so I had a quick tour around.
