Big Day, Big City

Today’s main event was Junior’s graduation ceremony at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. 

BSc in Marine Biology. He was a mature student. 

I could write hundreds of words about today, but will be brief. 

Kudos to the university for setting things up pandemic style so that we felt safe. 

Apart from the weather, it all went superbly well.

Junior has a bonus from his 4 years there. It got him into university sport (ice hockey). He has made friends from all over the world through that, as well as winning a British Universities championship. 

I am delighted to have a good reason to slurp up some of the wine, beer and gin which has been lurking in the kitchen.
