Thankfully we got off pretty light. Few trees down, bit of snow. I donned my Lidl padded ski trousers, wooly bunnet, gloves, winter boots, tied a bit of string to the dog and we ventured out. Biggest problem was slippy, muddy woodland paths from the overnight rain.

Other places were not so lucky.
