At this stage of the year, there ought to be the pantomine response 'Oh no its not.'
I don't see them every today but today, in the gloom that was midday, a small group appeared in front of me. It hasn't really got light all day with wind and rain followed by sleet. Another good day to linger in the house and do those jobs like visiting the butcher to order our Christmas meat. With DS#2 acting the role of prodigal son, the fatted calf has to be purchased.
The other job was trying to get my new smart bulbs to work. Quite a fiddle, not helped by the fact one doesn't seem to work at all as far as I can tell. And then of course the nightmare of the Amazon return process when you only want to return part of the item delivered. I await to see what will happen with interest. Certainly the 'bot' was not up to it!
