The great escape

This morning started with a poultice change before daylight. 

Then on to my guys... As I drove towards the field I saw that Jasper was standing atop Brinkies Brae... Not in the field. I headed to the shed and walked up to meet him. He was very bemused and quite pleased to see me. See extra. 

I also managed to take this shot of a stunning sunrise... So he is forgiven. 

Today I'd also decided to move the horses to a different field with more shelter as we are about recieve another stormy and rough night. 

I spent a while threading metal wire on the field perimeter fence. This will hook up to the electric fence and stop the horses leaning over to the next field... Hopefully! 

Horses moved, two by two.

Thankfully, he'd managed to finish early so a dog walk with him and then back to Stromness... Where we found George and Red outside of the field!! We think they (George) discovered how to open one of the gates. Then on to moving the horse tack caravan into the shed, finish the fencing, feed and deal with all horses and catch up on a few horse care needs.

Ahhhhhhhnd finally home. We also have a new TV we've not had time to install so that was done. 

Now for foooooood!!!
